Temperature Sensors and Distance Sensors
Posted on July 29th, 2011 No commentsTemperature sensors are used in so many industries for maintain the quality of the products by ensuring the right temperatures. The best temperature sensors that you can look for are Thermocouples, Platinum RTD’s and Thermistors. Thermocouples are the temperature sensors that are widely used these days. They can measure temperatures ranging from -300F to 2300F. It is very easy to operate and therefore many industries find them easiest of all. It works with the two different metals, voltage produce according to temperature levels. Platinum RTD’s, work on the principle of changing resistance, using metals that change electrical resistance according to rise and fall in temperatures. Thermistors on the other hand are the temperature sensors that are used for simple readings.
Distance sensor is the device that works on a very interesting principle just like the sensor camera detects the object behind you; the distance sensor detects the distance as soon as you come closer to an object. It produces an alert or any kind of siren for that matter, warning you when you come closer to another vehicle or any object. Distance sensor is becoming extremely important for safety reasons while driving.
